Kathy Ortiz-Herscher is a New York City based educator, leader and avid scribbler for over 18 years. She has worked within the New York City Department of Education both as a classroom teacher and assistant principal. Within the NYC community, Kathy has worked with closely with El Museo del Barrio, the Guggenheim Museum, and Ballet Hispanico through Project Arts. in 2012, Kathy became a founding member of Family Life Academy Charter School II where she currently serves the role of assistant principal.
